Askar 103APO

Askar has announced the 103APO.

This is an apochromatic refractor with a triplet air-gap lens.

The native focal length is specified as 700mm, resulting from an aperture of 103mm and an aperture ratio of f/6.8.

The tube of the 103 APO is divisible, making it suitable for visual use, including combination with a binocular, as well as for photographic purposes in combination with the specially designed image flattener or one of the two reducers, which are offered separately.

The spot diagram and sample image provide a first impression of the 103APO's capabilities.

The 103APO will be available around mid/late September.
