Update of the Star Adventurer / Motor Controller

Here's how to update the Star Adventurer's software.

Download the latest version of the motor controller. This can be found on the Skywatcher website:
http://skywatcher.com/download/software/motor-control-firmware/
(We used the "motor_controller_fimrware_loader_version_174")
Then unzip the files into a directory of your choice.

Now download the latest version of the firmware:
https://skywatcher.com/download/software/star-adventurer/
(We used the firmware: Star Adventurer 2i, version 3.11)
Unzip these files into a directory of your choice.

Then power on the Star Adventurer, connected to the USB cable.
Start the motor controller software (MCFirmwareLoader) and browse to the directory containing the downloaded firmware. In our case, select MC017_V0311.
Then connect the Star Adventurer using the software, after checking the "Auto-Detect COM Port" box.

Then start the update. After receiving the "Turn off" prompt, restart the Star Adventurer.

The Firmware Loader software should now display the current version after reconnecting.
