TS-Optics Photoline Apo-Reducer 0.75x for apochromatic and ED refractors
The 3-lens 0.75x reducer and flattener is designed for apochromatic refractor telescopes. The corrector is suitable for almost all refractors with eyepieces 2.5" and larger. The focal length is reduced to 75% and the aperture is increased accordingly. At the same time, the field of view is corrected. Cameras with sensors up to full-frame can now be used. The main advantages of the Photoline 0.75x Reducer:
♦ A new design solves the problem of tilting.
♦ The corrector can be used on all refractors with eyepieces 2.5" and larger. The required backfocus is 130 mm from the connection thread. Any refractor designed for 2" can also work with this reducer.
♦ The working distance from the M48x0.75 thread is 55 mm. Ideal for astro cameras and DSLR/SLR cameras.
♦ The corrector offers three connection threads on the camera side for maximum flexibility: M68x1 male thread, M54x0.75 female thread, and M48x0.75 male thread.
♦ The corrector fits all focusers with the M74x1 male thread and the M68x1 female thread. Transition adapters, e.g., to M63x1, are of course available.
Working distance from the corrector to the camera:
Due to the new design, the corrector tolerates deviations from the working distance of up to +/- 1 mm. Nevertheless, you should maintain the distances as precisely as possible.
From a focal length of 700 mm, the following apply Working distances:
♦ From the M48x0.75 external thread: 55 mm
♦ From the M54x0.75 internal thread: 56.5 mm
♦ From the M68x1 external thread: 60 mm
♦ For apo lenses with a focal length of 600 mm to 700 mm, the working distance is extended by 1 mm.
♦ For apo lenses with a focal length of 550 mm to 690 mm, the working distance is extended by 3 mm.
♦ For apo lenses with a focal length of 480 mm to 540 mm, the working distance is extended by 5 mm.
