Newton telescopes are ideal for astrophotography. However, the coma of these telescopes must be corrected. Newton coma shows itself as a distortion of the stars towards the edge area and increases with the light intensity of the telescope. This effect is visually and photographically visible.

The Baader Multi Purpose Coma Corrector MPCC Mark III eliminates the Newton coma and also offers other interesting product features:

- Usable for Newton telescopes from f/3.5 to f/6
- Re-calculated larger lenses for vignetting free shots, even with large sensors

Canon EOS DSLR camera with the ability to use a filter:

If you have a Canon EOS DSLR camera, you can connect the Baader Protective T-Ring. The T-ring makes the transition to your camera and also offers the possibility to use a filter. We recommend for example the Baader UHC-S filter, which has proven to be an excellent nebula filter for astrophotography.

To get the right distance you still need the T-Ring Spacer (BA2458405). You will find these products in the accessory recommendations.

TS Short Builder Off Axis Guider TSOAG9

Follow with the same telescope that you take a picture of. You save yourself a tracking telescope, protect the mount and improve tracking accuracy. The TSOAG9 fits directly onto the M48 thread of the MPCC corrector. But you still need the transition adapter BA2454805. From the M48 connection thread of this adapter, the distance to the optimum focus position is 57.5mm

You have the T2 thread on the camera side of the Off Axis Guider, where you can connect the camera directly via the short design DSLR adapter or adapt your CCD camera. The recommended distance from the T2 thread of the TSOAG 9 to the sensor is 45mm to 46mm.
