Variable polarization moon filter 1,25'' for moon & planets
A variable polarizer for many purposes
With these high-quality variable polarizing filters made of anodized aluminum and optical glass, the intensity of the light entering the eyepiece is dimmed.
This allows you to continuously darken the image of a bright object, such as the moon or specific planet, to a level that suits your needs while increasing contrast.
This reduces the dazzling effect and increases the amount of detail. The light transmission can be reduced from 40% up to 1%. The filter does not change the color of the subject and prevents both eye fatigue and loss of night vision.
Each filter set consists of two polarizing filters, one of which can be rotated to adjust the brightness in its socket. The filters can also be used as single elements for terrestrial daytime use to reduce dazzling sunlight from lakes, the sea or window glass.
It is available in two sizes with threads for 1.25 "or 2" astronomical standard eyepieces. With storage box.
