Due to the diameter of 25.4cm (10 "), the light collection capacity corresponds approximately to the 1275 times the eye.Less weak galaxies and nebulae are suitable for your observations! The pyrex mirror support is characterized by a fast cooling and provides a slightly better image even during the cooling phase than other mirror carriers (such as float glass or BK7). The type of the mirror carrier is no longer decisive for the quality of the image. Here it is clear that the advantage of the PYREX is the rapid operability of the telescope. A diffraction-limited image of the telescope is guaranteed.

The telescope sits on a so-called rocker box, which forms a stable, wobbly substructure. The desired celestial objects can thus be targeted by sliding on the tube.
The tripod plate runs on plain bearings and the telescope can be rotated into the desired direction of the sky (azimuth) by the lateral handles. The height adjustment has a so-called "Tension Control" (see picture above). This allows you to adjust the movement of the height adjustment and even clamp the telescope.

The 2 "Crayford eyepiece extractor

The Dobson is equipped with a smooth and precise 2 "Crayford eyepiece extractor with a 1.25" reduction. This makes it possible to use high-performance 2 "eyepieces, a bright image and a clear overview. All 1.25" eyepieces can of course also be used.
Since the extension is ball-bearing, accurate and easy adjustment is ensured with heavy accessories.
