Celestron C8 Astrofoto Edition - Crayford, proofreader and off-axis guider

Celestron 8 "f / 10 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with optimally matched accessories for astrophotography

♦ Celestron C8 optical tube with 203 mm aperture and 2032 mm focal length, including viewfinder, prism rail and 1.25 "accessories

♦ TS 2 "-Crayford focuser with micro-reduction - the excerpt comes directly to the telescope

♦ F / 6,3 corrector for SC telescopes - the focal length is reduced to 1280 mm and the light intensity increased to f / 6.3

♦ TS Off-Axis Guider TSOAG16 - Recording AND tracking through the telescope

Celestron 8 "200 mm f / 10 Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope - Astrophotography package offer
A Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope is very well suited for photographing star clusters, planetary nebulae and galaxies, if you have the necessary accessories. Here we offer you a fully equipped Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with all necessary accessories for successful astrophotography - an all-inclusive package.

The astrophotography package offer consists of the following parts:

Celestron C8 Schmidt-Cassegrain: compact and versatile telescope with 203 mm aperture and 2000 mm focal length. The telescope is already supported by compact mounts like Celestron's EQ5 or Advanced VX. The SC is equipped with a prism rail for direct attachment to mounts.

TS 2 "Crayford focuser with SC connection thread: The excerpt gives you precise focus and complete elimination of the mirror shift, roughly adjusting the focus with the primary mirror, then fine-tuning with the excerpt : 10 micro reduction, you can achieve even higher accuracy. You can also control the focuser by motor (optional).

TS 0.63 4-element corrector and reducer: The high-quality corrector reduces the focal length of the telescope and increases the light intensity to f / 6.3. The exposure time is shortened by a factor of 2.5x and the stars at the edge of the frame become sharper.

TS Off-Axis-Guider TSOAG16: Only the off-axis guider completes the set. For Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (and similar), we always recommend tracking via an off-axis guider and not via a guide tube. The accuracy of the tracking increases and the mount is less loaded. The TS Off-Axis Guider is perfectly matched to the corrector. The adaptation of an autoguider or a Nachfrogrokulares takes place simply over the lateral T2 connection.

Of course, all the adapters you need are included, right through to the T2 adaptation on the camera side and also on the side exit of the off-axis guider.

The advantages of the Celestron SC telescope in conjunction with the TS Astrophoto package:

♦ You have done all the necessary adapters with a purchase. The tedious search for suitable adapters is eliminated.
♦ Get a Celestron SC telescope of the latest design - of course FastStar compatible.
♦ The high-quality 4-element corrector was developed for Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes and offers a very good field correction up to APS-C format.
♦ The problem of tracking is also solved with the TSOAG16.

Connecting the camera to the Astrophoto package:

From the T2 thread of the off-axis guider to the camera sensor, it is exactly 55 mm. So you can directly, for example, Connect your DSLR camera with the optional T2 ring. For CCD cameras, we recommend matching extension rings to allow you to work at a distance of about 55 mm from the T2 thread.

The lateral connection on the Off-Axis Guider is T2 - suitable for all current autoguiders on the market. You can move the T2 adaptation to optimally adjust the focus of the autoguider.
