Telescope Omegon 130/920 Newton on EQ-3 Mount with accessories

The Omegon 130/920 is also a Newton mirror telescope, named after the inventor Isaak Newton. This type, which has been tried and tested for over 300 years, is a very original form of technical sky observation for beginners and young people alike. Newton telescopes are particularly popular because they have more light output in the same price class as their louvres, for example lens telescopes (refractors).

Thus, the Omegon 130/920 as a starter instrument has a quite large opening with long focal length (f7) and is suitable both beautiful moon and detailed planet observations (like the rings of Saturn, moon shadow plays on the Jupiter or its big red spot) but also also for Interesting deep-sky excursions to brighter objects, such as the Orion nebula, open double-heap heaps (h and chi) in the Perseus, or even the galaxy groups M81. The telescope collects 344 times more light than the human eye and allows a 260-fold (sensible) magnification.

Telescope Omegon on EQ-3

The telescope described here is supplied with an EQ3 mount, with (manual) fine adjustment and a corresponding counter-weight, for optimal balance of the optics. Together with the LED light spot detector, beginners can easily and intuitively track and track the desired objects. The EQ3 is more stable than the smaller EQ2 mount, with which this telescope can also be emptied. This telescope also comes with a height-adjustable aluminum tripod and can be adapted to different body sizes and / or "grows" so to speak.

This equipment has a T2 thread, for the connection of an SLR camera, allows all first attempts in astrophotography, as for example: Moon crater.

Product advantages:

+ Ideal for larger children (from about 12 years) and beginners
+ Suitable for contrasting moon and planet observation and
   Also brighter deep-sky objects
+ Larger opening against refractors in the same price class for more light output
+ Fine adjustment and LED illuminated spotlights facilitate inutable on and off
After-balancing (compensation of the earth rotation) of objects
+ E3 mount more stable than comparable equipment with EQ2 mount
+ Tripod height adjustable
+ Cheap in the purchase

Note:

- Not suitable for landscape observation.
We recommend a refractor in this price category.
- Not suitable for extensive astrophotography.
- For planetary observation, we recommend a barlow lens.
- In addition, we recommend a moon filter for the protection of the eyes and the moon
  For better contrast.
- Field stand required after touch / vibration 4-6 sec. Decay time for
  A "wiggle-free" observation
