Telescope Starscope 114/900 Newton on EQ2 mount with accessories

The Starscope 114/900 is a Newton mirror telescope, whose name and inventor was Isaak Newton. A 300-year-proven design, which is just perfect for beginner and adolescents, a very original form of technical sky observation.

Newton telescopes are particularly popular because they have more light output in the same price class as their louvres, for example lens telescopes (refractors).

Thus, the Starscope 114/900 allows both beautiful moon and planet observations (like the atmospheric bands of Jupiter) as well as some interesting deep-sky excursions to lighter objects such as The Orion Nebula. The 6x30 optical viewfinder with crosshairs facilitates finding and tracking of objects of the sky.

The EQ2 mounting with (manual) fine adjustment has a telescope Starscope from TS on EQ2 counterbalance for the balancing of the optics. The aluminum tripod is height-adjustable and can be adapted to different body sizes and / or "grows" so to speak.
