This Sky-Watcher Honders Catadioptric (HAC) telescope is perfect for demanding astrophotographers who want a fast astrograph for wide-field imaging in a compact and lightweight unit. Unlike small refractor astrographs, the HAC125DX offers a fast f/2 focal ratio, allowing you to achieve exposure times five times faster than a standard f/4.9 lens. With this enormous light intensity, you can collect more data in less time, and autoguiding is no longer necessary.

Compared to the original HAC125, the HAC125DX is equipped with a back-focus mechanism on the primary mirror. This allows you to choose from significantly more cameras, and focusing is much easier. The telescope produces a 16mm image circle, ideal for cameras with IMX533 and 585 sensors. The telescope is only 40cm long with dew shield, offering a powerful imaging platform for both beginners and experienced astrophotographers.
