This filter blocks the light from low pressure and high pressure mercury vapor lamps as well as sodium vapor lamps and neon light while allowing the rest of the visible light to pass through. Excellent for observation of deep sky objects on the outskirts of and in cities. It can be used visually and for CCD photography.
