Die neue Halterung für Bino-Teleskop (Doppelteleskop) geht in die Testphase

We've waited a long time for this, and now it's here: the new anodized mount for assembling a binocular telescope.

Now the testing phase can begin to ensure everything functions smoothly and flawlessly before we go into production.

The test setup:
The first test setup will again be carried out with two 127mm Skywatcher Skymax Maks and two 120mm f/5 refractors. Both telescopes are mounted in the mount, aligned, and anchored there.

The mount itself (without telescopes) weighs 2.7kg. Together with the two Maksutovs, we reach a total weight of approximately 12.5kg. Experienced users will know that everything is still quite "handy" and maneuverable.

The very stable AZ5 (Skytee), AZ-EQ5 GT, AZ-EQ6 GT, or similar mounts are suitable for this.

Next steps:
After the testing phase, a decision will be made as to whether further modifications are necessary and what has proven successful.
If everything works well, nothing stands in the way of production.
