The EQ-2 mount is stable and comes with a sturdy height-adjustable aluminum tripod. The EQ-2 is a solid entry-level mount for star enthusiasts who want to have small and medium sized telescopes mounted well. Equipped with an optional tracking motor, astrophotography is possible.

Load capacity:
The EQ-2 carries short-building Newton telescopes up to 130mm opening and refractor telescopes up to 90mm opening, with short construction also up to 100mm opening.
