SkyWatcher Drive Motor for right ascension axis of the Starquest and Avant mounts

The motor for the right ascension axis of the Sky-Watcher Starquest and Avant mounts allows easy tracking of the telescope at sidereal speed. So you can comfortably observe an object for a longer time without having to worry about tracking. The drive is completely built into an ergonomic, compact housing. Even the 2 AA batteries not included in the scope of delivery are inserted directly into a compartment in the motor housing. It can be switched for operation in the northern and southern hemispheres and is also equipped with an input for autoguiding for astrophotography.
 

The motor allows the following applications:

♦ pleasant observations of objects in a group, even at higher magnifications the object (moon, planet, double star ...) remains in the center of the eyepiece.
♦ Photography of the moon and planets
♦ Photography of nebulae, star clusters and galaxies with shorter focal lengths up to 200 mm
