Pole finder for CGX and CGX-L

The optional pole finder for the CGX/CGX-L mounts provides an easy way to point the mount to the celestial pole

to align It is simply attached to the mount on the CGX mount with a dovetail quick-release clamp. The viewfinder can be easily removed for transport. The bracket was specially designed for CGX and CGX-L to enable the most comfortable viewing possible.

The crosshairs show the location of the constellations Dipper and Cassiopeia relative to the north celestial pole, allowing you to quickly and accurately locate the mount with a quick glance at Polaris, without consulting an app or setting the date and time.
