TS-PHOTON 10" F5 Advanced Newtonian Telescope with Carbon Tube
The PHOTON Newtonian reflector with 254 mm aperture and f/5 is a powerful telescope for visual observing and astrophotography.
♦ Aperture 254 mm / focal length 1250 mm / focal ratio F5
♦ High-quality parabolic primary mirror with 94% enhanced reflectivity for a brighter and more contrasty image.
♦ Carbon tube for more stability with better portability at the same time - Made in Germany!
♦ Optimal internal blackening with Berger Antireflexfarbe (anti reflection paint).
♦ Primary mirror cell and secondary mirror cell made of metal - no plastic - fully adjustable (image of the secondary mirror cell at left).
♦ Useful collimation aid on the primary mirror - central mark.
♦ Precise 2" Crayford focuser, 1:10 dual speed for accurate focusing.
♦ Primary mirror fan for up to 50% quicker cooling.
♦ Focus position ready for observing with all popular eyepieces and for astrophotography.
♦ Tube rings, 8x50 finder and 35 mm extension tube for observing included in the scope of delivery.
For this PHOTON Newtonian, we use Berger Antireflexfarbe (anti-reflex paint). It darkens the inside of the tube as well as velours foil. The big advantage, besides a lower weight, is that the paint almost gathers no dust. The optics stay clean. With velours foil, dust gathers at the primary mirror very quickly.Only a good coma corrector turns this Newtonian into a true astrograph. Our recommendation is the TSGPU corrector which is perfect for this telescope. it will offer you highest sharpness in the entire field, only with the TSGPU (see accessory recommendations) this Newtonian turns into a true astrograph.
The working distance from the M48 thread is 55 mm. With a T-ring, you are automatically at the right distance for astrophotography with DSLR cameras. We can offer you suitable adaptions for your astro camera anytime within the context of our consultation.
