For years we have been annoyed by the prism rails for the 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain optics that are far too short (if you connect a CCD camera, for example, the optics cannot be balanced...). We have therefore spent several thousand euros on a continuous casting mold and can have these prism rails made exclusively for us. A real gain in functionality for every Schmidt-Cassegrain optic. The rail can protrude either at the back or the front (!) of the C8 tube.
