TS-Optics anti-reflective paint from Musou - deep black
The manufacturer advertises this paint as the blackest black in the world. This makes this paint ideal for blackening adapters or telescopes. The ultra-matt black acrylic paint is suitable for light outdoor use, i.e. occasional moisture. It adheres to all painted surfaces and can be applied with a brush or spray. The paint adheres to rough and smooth surfaces, such as aluminum or carbon. You can also paint over existing blackened surfaces. Please make sure that the original paint adheres well. On rough surfaces, consumption is a little higher, but the surface appears even darker.

100 ml is enough, for example, to coat the inside of a medium-sized telescope. The small amount is ideal for adapters, blackening the inside of eyepiece extensions and much more. It is very easy to use. With 1000 ml, you can blacken the inside of around 7 telescopes. The paint has a long shelf life in the sealable bottle.

Tips for using TS-Optics anti-reflective paint:

♦ It is best to apply the paint with a brush or a spray gun (for larger surfaces). A roller uses too much paint.

♦ For finished painted Newtons (e.g. Skywatcher or GSO) we recommend roughening the paint with some sandpaper, this improves adhesion.
♦ The darkening effect is extreme, contours are no longer visible.
♦ The paint is also well suited for the back of secondary mirrors or for secondary mirror spiders and mirror holders.
♦ The paint has the main advantage when light falls at an angle. The paint absorbs the light almost completely at a flat angle. The result will be a deep black tube, without reflections.
♦ In terms of consistency and dilutability, the anti-reflective paint is comparable to wall paint.

♦ TSBlack consists of a special acrylic copolymer, which can absorb more pigments than other acrylic paints.
♦ Binders offer better adhesion to surfaces.
♦ TSBlack is completely vegan and contains no animal ingredients
♦ TSBlack is non-toxic and can also be used indoors
♦ TSBlack can be diluted with up to 40% water. 100 ml of TSBlack then produces 140 ml of ready-to-use solution.
♦ TSBlack is not suitable for parts that can heat up to over 100 °C.
♦ TSBlack is non-toxic, but we do not recommend the paint as body paint. If some paint gets on your skin, simply wash it off.
