Experience and recordings with ZWO SeeStar S50

Dear Mr. Kloß,

I am also very fascinated by the starry sky. I also find astrophotography very exciting because it allows you to make far more visible than you can achieve with visual observation. Until now, I haven't been able to bring myself to do it, mainly because of the relatively high technical and time-consuming effort. Smart telescopes are now lowering the hurdle even further, and I'd like to try the subject again.

I was lucky this evening and was able to take advantage of a few gaps in the clouds. I'm amazed at how easily and quickly DSOs become visible. I photographed M31 for about 5 minutes and I'm impressed. This afternoon, the sun came out, and I had to take advantage of this opportunity right away. I'm very pleased with the result.

So far, I can highly recommend the Seestar S50 and am happy to have managed to get one. I think it will definitely be a best-seller. The fact that production is struggling to keep up seems to prove that.
