TS-Optics 1.25" filter set for observing and photographing the moon and planets
Color filters from Telescope Service offer an excellent price-performance ratio. The filters are very suitable for observation and astrophotography. Simply screw the filter into the filter thread of your eyepiece, filter wheel or adapter and observe the moon and planets with significantly more contrast.

The TSFISET6 consists of the following filters:

Combining the filters opens up new, exciting areas of application. The filter set contains many helpful filters for observing and photographing the moon and planets.

♦ TS light red No. 23A - from 60 mm opening
The filter brings a significant increase in contrast on the moon. The polar caps of Mars are already visible in telescopes with an aperture of 100 mm or more. The filter is ideal for planetary observation during the day because the blue is completely blocked.

♦ TS Orange No. 21 - from 80 mm opening
Dust storms on Mars become visible. Structures are better emphasized in the atmospheres of Jupiter and Saturn. The phases of Mercury and Venus can be better observed, even during the day or at twilight. With larger telescopes, details in the atmosphere of Uranus can also be seen.

♦ TS Yellow No. 12 - from 50 mm opening
The contrast on the lunar surface is significantly increased. Surface details and clouds on Mars become visible. Jupiter's Great Red Spot is highlighted. The blue fringe of achromatic refractors (color errors) is suppressed. The filter is also suitable for observations during twilight.

♦ TS Green No. 56 - from 60 mm opening
It is one of the most important contrast filters. Moon craters become more visible, even away from the light-shadow boundary (terminator). The filter also highlights the Great Red Spot on Jupiter and also the smaller vortices on the gas planets Jupiter and Saturn.

♦ TS light blue No. 82A - from 50 mm opening
The filter is an important universal contrast filter for almost all objects in the solar system. The cloud bands of Jupiter and Saturn in particular are strengthened. The filter also emphasizes the polar caps of Mars in telescopes with an aperture of 80 mm or more.

♦ TS Moon & Skyglow Filters
This filter is one of the best planetary filters we know. In the solar system, the filter offers a significant increase in contrast, especially on Mars, Moon and Jupiter.

This filter also enhances the contrast of reddish gas nebulae, also known as H-II regions. It also brings benefits in the observation of planetary nebulae. Overall, the filter effect is not as strong as with a conventional fog filter, such as a UHC. This makes the filter also suitable for smaller telescopes.
