Askar 0.8x Reducer - Corrector for the 140mm f7 Triplet APO

The Askar 140 APO 0.8x Reducer is optimized for the Askar 140APO and expands the scope of use of the telescope.

The 0.8x reducer reduces the focal ratio of the Askar 140APO to F5.6. It is a standard reducer that also performs the field flattening function. A shorter focal ratio expands the telescope's field of view and allows for shorter exposure times, making it suitable for capturing large areas of nebulae, star clusters and faint, fast-moving celestial objects.

The 0.8x reducer is designed as a triplet and offers an image circle of 44 mm, making it also suitable for full-frame cameras. The back focus from the M48 thread is standard 55 mm. The telescopic-side thread is M84x1. On the camera side, the reducer is equipped with adapters in sizes M54x0.75 and M48x0.75. At the same time, it has a built-in 2-inch filter thread M48x0.75. The CNC-milled metal dust caps protect against damage and dirt when not in use.
