A dinosaur on the sun - and a big one at that ;-)

Very close to the large sunspot that gave us northern lights all the way to Sicily, there was a truly large prominence! I rotated the image slightly so the "dinosaur effect" is easier to see.

And seriously: I've never seen a prominence so fragmented.
