This new compact EQDir USB stick adapter for EQMOD allows you to connect Skywatcher HEQ5 Syntrek/PRO, NEQ6 Syntrek/PRO, AZ EQ6-GT and EQ8 mounts directly to your PC or laptop. With this adapter you can remotely control your Skywatcher mount directly via your PC. No hand box controller is required and the device is perfect for remote controlled observatories.
 
The heart of the EQDIR is based on an FTDI USB-to-Serial chip
This chip is fully compatible and working with Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, OSX, Linux. There is no need to install external drivers as Windows Update will install the latest FTDI driver. Simply connect the device to your PC and get started.

EQDIR adapter for mounts with DB9 connection
Choose the appropriate model (DB9 or RJ45) for your mount model. You can use the same basic device on both mounts. If necessary, simply connect the RJ45 to DB9 adapter and you're ready to go.
