With this Vixen polar finder set, you can easily align your POLARIE U Star Tracker precisely to the celestial pole. This is particularly important with longer focal lengths and exposure times so that the stars are depicted as points. This is why the polar finder enables polar alignment with an accuracy of 3 arc minutes. It is impressive because it is very easy to use: you just have to bring the North Star and two other stars into the field of view of the polar finder and turn them until they are aligned with the reticle. You no longer need to make length corrections or set the time and date. The PF-L II polar finder is also equipped with a red, dimmable light that switches off automatically after a few minutes to save battery life.
