The Vixen Polarmeter QPL is a high-quality compass with spirit level and altitude scale. As an accessory for the POLARIE, AP, SXP2 and AXJ mounts, it is used to quickly and easily find the North Star, even if it is obscured by trees or a mountain, for example. To do this, first attach the compass to the accessory shoe of the POILARIE Star Tracker or another device with a camera accessory shoe. Then simply set the height of the North Star using the altitude marking and center the bubble of the spirit level in the marking. Then just turn the compass to the north and the alignment is complete.
