Product no.: TS462CMINI
TS-Optics ToupTek GPM462C Color Camera and Autoguider USB2.0 - Chip D=6.46 mm
A very sensitive autoguider for astrophotography from ToupTek, with high resolution IMX462 sensor and 1.25" body
CMOS color sensor IMX462 from Sony with a QE of over 89% for highest sensitivity - always find a guide star
Pixel size 2.9 µm - allowing you to guide large telescopes with small guiding scopes and to use finder guiding
Practical 1.25" body - you can insert the autoguider / camera like an eyepiece into the guiding scope, finder or off axis guider.
A true lightweight with only 70 grams and not larger than a 1.25" eyepiece
Extensive scope of delivery: USB cable, ST4 autoguiding cable, C-CS mount adapter and 1.25" nosepiece
The camera can also be used as a high-grade lunar and planetary camera. Due to the high sensitive sensor even images of deep sky objects are possible.
C thread for the connection of lenses for industrial cameras, extension for CS lenses
The GPM462C is the ultimate autoguider and much more. The modern Sony IMX462 color sensor convinces with an outstanding QE of over 80%. Only a few sensors achieve this sensitivity. Another special feature is the extremely high resolution due to 2.9 µm pixels. This makes this camera very interesting for astrophotography.
The advantages of the GPM462C as an autoguider
You always find a guide star, even with an off-axis guider - guaranteed!
With the high resolution, you can easily guide telescopes of up to 11" aperture with a 50 mm finder - guiding with the finder becomes possible.
The practical 1.25" housing makes adaption easy. Push the camera into the 1.25" receptacle, focus and get started with guiding.
Short working distance from the front surface to the sensor - you can reach focus even with short maximum distances.
With only 70 grams weight, the focuser is almost not loaded.
Of course, ST4 cable and ST4 port are supplied. Connect the camera directly to the autoguiding port of the mount.
The advantages of the GPM462C as an astro camera
Highly sensitive sensor combined with high resolution for ultimate lunar and planetary photographs.
Camera fits any 1.25" focuser. Clamp the camera like an eyepiece, focus and start astrophotography.
The high sensitivity makes the GPM462C suitable for photographing nebulae and galaxies.
The camera is equipped with a UV-IR cut filter, which means that poorer correction of (partially) refractive optics for these areas does not impair the image. The color balance also corresponds approximately to the visual impression.
