Experience and recordings with ZWO Seestar S30 Pro
This thing is so much fun! 😊 Yesterday I was out again at Bortle 5:
The Firewheel Galaxy, Messier 101, or NGC 5457, in the constellation Ursa Major, approximately 22 million light-years away, with a diameter of about 170,000 light-years.
The Rosette Nebula (an emission nebula) in the constellation Monoceros.
NGC 2237 to NGC 2239 and NGC 2246 refer to different parts of the nebula.
Distance approximately 5440 light-years

I'm thrilled with this little smart telescope! 🤩🤩🤩 I didn't expect this quality. During the image capture (Bortle 5 near Vienna), the target object was relatively low in the sky, and the seeing was limited by high humidity.
Rosette Nebula (Emission Nebula) in the constellation Monoceros.
NGC 2237 to NGC 2239 and NGC 2246 refer to different parts of the nebula.
``` In the Waldviertel region of Austria, I photographed the Markarian Chain (a group of 10 galaxies).
It's amazing what the S30 Pro can do, especially with a half moon.
I'm always amazed by what the little Seestar S30 Pro can conjure up, even with almost full moonlight. :)
Addendum: Both images were taken in EQ mode with 20-second sub-exposures. The Heart Nebula had an 8-minute total exposure under full moonlight, and the Pinwheel Galaxy had a 35-minute exposure.
Many thanks to Manfred Berndl.
