Celestron NexStar SLT - Error Code 16 - E-Board Replacement

Initial situation: The hand controller displays error code 16 after initialization, and the HC direction buttons do not move the axes.
We tried to resolve the error by updating the hand controller, but without success.
Celestron states on its website that pressing the "Back" button several times may temporarily reset the system.
After trying this approach, we were briefly able to control the altitude axis – but not the azimuth axis.
After a short time, the telescope went back into error mode.
We opened the mount to rule out the possibility of poor connections.
After unplugging and replugging all connectors, another attempt to start the system still didn't move the azimuth axis.
Since the on-board connections for both motors are the same, we simply swapped them. The same procedure after the error code, pressing the "Back" button several times – now we were able to control the azimuth axis – Alt remained motionless.
This confirms the suspicion that the board was defective.
Replacing the electronic board provides certainty. The mount is working perfectly again.
