A rapidly changing prominence on June 19, 2026
On June 19th of this year, I was able to observe a rapidly changing prominence. The series shows the changes occurring over a span of three minutes—or, for the final three images, just five minutes. Due to the intensifying heat, atmospheric conditions were unfavorable from the start and deteriorated further as time went on. I have compiled the most significant changes here, omitting a few images. I hope the progression of the series is interesting enough to be enjoyed.
Best regards,
