The new APM 6 "f / 7.9 Dublet is a versatile refractor for observation, lunar and planetary photography and, with the appropriate correctors, even deep sky astrophotography. By using two special lenses (CDGM FK61 and lanthanum H-LAF53) A very good correction of the color error is achieved for a doublet The advantage of the 2-element lens is the moderate weight of only 7.5kg.

The optics consist of 2 elements with air gap. The gap is only 0.2 mm narrow to ensure rapid cooling. The lens mount is designed for a stress-free mounting of the optics from -15 ° C to + 40 ° C and centers the individual lenses with special temperature-compensating Teflon screws. Optionally for an extra charge you get an interferometric test protocol of the test at 532 nm (green) wavelength.



As an eyepiece extension, a newly developed 2.5 "tooth drive extension with a 1:10 adjustment is used, which allows a high loading for the photograph without bending.
