Announcement : Askar 140APO - Apochromatic Refractor - 140mm f7 / 980mm focal length
Askar has announced the 140APO.
This is an apochromatic refractor with a triplet air-gap lens.
The native focal length is specified as 980mm, resulting from a 140mm aperture and an f/7 focal ratio.
The 140APO's tube is extendable, making it suitable for visual use, including combination with a binocular, as well as for photographic purposes in combination with the dedicated image flattener or a reducer, which are sold separately.
We expect the 140APO to be available by mid/late December 2023.
Pre-orders will be accepted as soon as more details and pricing are announced.
