Announcement : Askar 185APO - Apochromatic Refractor - 185mm f7 / 980mm focal length
Askar has announced the 185APO.
This is an apochromatic refractor with a triplet air-gap lens.
The native focal length is specified as 1295mm, resulting from an aperture of 185mm and an aperture ratio of f/7.
The 185APO's tube is extendable, making it suitable for visual use, including combination with a binocular, as well as for photographic purposes in combination with the dedicated image flattener or a reducer, which are sold separately.
We expect the 185APO to be available by early 2024.
