Announcement: Skywatcher Wave 100i Strainwave Mount
Skywatcher has announced its new "Wave" series of mounts, which, unlike traditional belt and worm shaft drives, rely on the new wave gear technology.

These mounts utilize the strain-wave design with its high torque and compact construction, delivering high precision and performance in an affordable and portable package. With exclusive features not found in any other strain-wave mount, the Wave series is a serious update and improvement to Sky-Watcher's already immensely popular family of astronomy mounting platforms.
With payload capacities of 22 and 33 pounds, respectively (33 and 55 pounds with optional counterweight kits), the Wave 100i and 150i are incredibly compact and lightweight (9.5 and 12.8 pounds, respectively), and pack into rugged carrying cases with dense, machine-cut foam, perfect for travel. Sky-Watcher Wave mounts also feature EQ and AZ tracking modes with RA and Dec home positions, D/V hybrid saddles, a 0-90 degree latitude range, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability, RA brake when the power is off, a 12V 2A power supply (not included), and a red backlit latitude indicator and bubble level to make setup much easier.
