Mainly the eyepieces are used for the observation of faint objects. Due to the large field of view of 82° one has the "Spacewalk effect". It is thought to float in front of the object in space.

The good contrast and high sharpness make the eyepieces but also to good planetary eyepieces. Especially owners of Dobson equipment appreciate the large and sharp field of view because it simply allows longer viewing times while the planet or lunar crater drifts through the field of view.
