New! - With autoguider connection!

Thanks to the autoguiding capability of the new TT320X-AG, you now get pin-pointed star images even with longer focal lengths. It can easily be controlled with the well-known ST-4 compatible autoguiders like SBIG SG-4, QHY5, ALccd5, LVI SmartGuider, and popular autoguiding software like MaximDL and PhD.

High-precision tracking without autoguiding:

You have to have experienced the tracking accuracy of the TT320X-AG itself in order to really believe it. With exact arrangement pin-pointed stars are also possible with 200mm focal length and more. A "normal" mount that offers similar precision weighs 20 times and costs thousands of euros.
Most DSLR cameras limit the max. Exposure time to 5 minutes. The TT320X-AG has (without autoguiding) a typical tracking error of about 5 arc seconds (peak-to-peak) over a five-minute period. Your TT320X-AG is individually calibrated by the manufacturer so that it has the lowest possible error in R.A. having.

Ultra-portable:

The TT320X-AG is extremely compact - no longer and wider than a normal forearm. When traveling, you can easily place it in your suitcase or e.g. a notebook bag accommodate.

The TT320X-AG weighs only 1 kg. Despite this low value, it can carry payloads up to about 15 kg. In addition, the power consumption is so low that a set of 8 AA batteries easily enough for about 10 hours tracking.

Quick set up, easy to use

Within a few minutes, the TT320X-AG is set up and you can start taking pictures. This allows e.g. also make good use of cloud gaps when photographing in the garden.

Compatible with all Astrotrac and other accessories
The TT320X-AG fits perfectly with the AstroTrac travel system and can also be mounted on any tripod with tilt and 3/8 "screw connection.

Great effort was made to make the TT320X-AG both functional and "chic". The aluminum surface has a scratch and weather resistant anodization.


Patent pending technology

The TT320X-AG is manufactured under very tight tolerances and offers optimal tracking accuracy and reliability for many years.
All units are manufactured in Bristol (UK) directly at AstroTrac. This ensures optimal quality control. The main components are aviation aluminum type 6082 T6 - stiff and light. All screws, nuts and the like are made of stainless steel. The electronic circuits also come from the UK and are automated in an environmentally friendly process. The controller is subject to two microprocessors, which can handle 16 or 20 million commands per second.

At the heart of the TT320X-AG is a precision motor with a drive spindle, which is manufactured to AstroTrac's exacting specifications. The spindle is an integral part of the motor to minimize the periodic tracking error.

The spindle is protected by a transparent and scratch-resistant polycarbonate cover. Last but not least, accurate ball and needle roller bearings ensure optimum synchronization with minimal resistance.
