The Baader H-Beta Filter has a very narrow aperture window (8.5 nm) in the H-Beta range (486.1nm) Especially for hydrogen areas such as the California Nebula or especially the horse head fog, the H-Beta is ideally suited.

Also photographic experiments - for example in the CCD area - are interesting.

At 250mm opening you can see the horse head fog clearly as a horse head - of course only under very good conditions. Especially as a supplement to the UHC and O-III H-Beta is recommended.
