Astrophotography with the NexStar SE1:

A special advantage of the NexStar SE 1 is the possibility for astrophotography.

With pure azimuthal mounts, even if they have a tracking, only maximum exposure times of about 30 seconds can be realized. Afterwards, an ugly rotation of the image field is noticeable. The SE1 has a built-in pole height cradle that prevents this image field rotation.

The NexStar SE 1 mount can be used parallactically in any region of the earth, from the equator to 80 ° north and south latitudes. Of course, automatic object positioning also works in parallactic mode.

This makes the NexStar SE 1 a very powerful astrophotographic platform for small astronomical telescopes and telephoto lenses.
With our TS double attachment S you can also use two devices side by side, e.g. a small telescopic sight and your camera with a telephoto lens.
