Celestron Newton Telescope 150mm 750mm f / 5 parabolic main mirror
Celestron Newton - 150mm aperture / 750mm focal length - tube with optics ... a versatile telescope from Celestron for almost all applications in hobby astronomy Celestron Newton 150 / 750mm - tube with optics Applications:
observation
This Newton is already suitable for the observation of faint nebulae and star clusters. The large opening of 150mm shows faint fog structures or star clusters with many details. So you can already recognize the "ears" of the dumbbell mist or even the first structures in the cirrus nebula. 150mm opening bring light enough that the use of fog filters is profitable. Objects such as the moon and planets are also very well reproduced by this compact device, a neatly made parabolic mirror makes it possible. There is no need for an additional lens, which rather brings a chromatic aberration into the system.
Astrophotography
In this area, this Newton can shine. Both moon and planets, as well as star clusters and nebula can be photographed well. The aperture ratio of f / 5 is a good compromise for all applications. We have the necessary adapters for photography in focus or for photography with eyepiece projection in the range.
The device already has the photo direct connection with the T-2 thread. You can also easily get into the focus of the device with a SLR camera - this is an important prerequisite for photography low-light fog through the telescope. The focuser is particularly sturdy and of course made of metal. It is equipped with a fixation screw that securely holds even heavy accessories in place.
