This telescope is inspected, measured and adjusted if necessary.
How we adjust: About us
Celestron refractor: 60 mm aperture, 700 mm focal length - optical tube
Light telescope and spotting scope with universal prism rail GP level and photo tripod connection
♦ Opening: 60 mm
♦ Focal length: 700 mm
♦ Opening ratio: f / 11.7
♦ 1.25 "focuser with rack adjustment
♦ 1.25 "accessories (zenith mirror, surgeons, eyepieces, etc.) can be easily connected
♦ Weight only approx. 1 kg - is easily held by photo tripods and small mounts
Celestron C60 refractor and spotting scope
A cleanly manufactured and above all light refractor with surprisingly good image. This telescope is also a spotting scope and offers beautiful views of the moon and planets. But also landscape and animal observation are a pleasure with the telescope.
The attachment to the photo tripod or on an astronomical mount:
A universal prism rail, which is attached directly to the telescope, allows the refractor to be attached to any photo tripod via the 1/4 "tripod thread. In addition, the rail allows the refractor to be connected to the quick coupling of the GP / EQ mounts (Vixen level) or also to suitable prism clamps.
Assemble your accessories yourself, depending on the application:
The telescope offers a very comfortable focus position. However, to get a sharp image with the eyepieces, you need either a 1.25 "extension sleeve or a diagonal or an Amiciprisma. The latter two have two major advantages: The view is more pleasant and the image is upright. The Amiciprisma appears the picture also right-sided, just like in a spotting scope.
The magnification can be calculated very easily. The telescope has a focal length of 700 mm. Divide the telescope focal length by the eyepiece focal length and you get the magnification.
Example: With a 25 mm eyepiece you get a magnification of 28x (700: 25 = 28).
