Experience and images with the ACUTER Elite Phoenix 40 H-alpha solar telescope

Thank you so much for the fantastic service! The telescope is amazing.

On Saturday evening, I spontaneously captured the first light and used my monochrome camera for the first time. I couldn't quite get the camera in focus, so I added a small extension tube, and then it was no problem at all!

I'm more than happy with the result!

Here's some information about the setup/photo:

Mount: Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i
Camera: QHY5III678M
Filter (instead of the original filter): Optolong KG3 UV/IR Cut
Exposure time per frame: 6 ms
Gain: 0
15% of 1 minute (1320 images)
