Experience with Skywatcher CQ350-Pro mount

Hello Mr. Kloß,

I would like to give you some feedback on my Skywatcher CQ350-Pro.

First of all, I am very satisfied with the mount's performance.
In my opinion, the specifications described are met without any problems.

The mount's accuracy is between 0.3 and 0.6. This naturally depends on the position and the quality of the local conditions.
The control and guiding work seamlessly with the Asiair Plus. Aligning the PA on my steel column was completed within a few minutes and has been maintained even over longer periods.

The mount is equipped with a 140 APO + 60 APO (piggyback) + accessories. The weight is approximately 21-22 kg.
The focal length range is 270 / 680 / 910 mm.

The images are taken with a ZWO 2600MC + OAG + Optolong L-Pro or Optolong Ultimate.

M13 – 1 hour with 140 APO / 680mm and Optolong L-Pro
M57 – 3 hours with 140 APO / 910mm and Optolong L-Pro
NGC6888 – 4 hours with 140 APO / 680mm and Optolong L-Pro (stars 1 hour) + Optolong Ultimate (nebula 3 hours)
