Products description

Experiment on the load capacity of prism rails / mounting plates and pipe clamps from 3D printing

An experiment to test the load-bearing capacity of our newly developed 3D-printed dovetail bars/mounting plates and tube clamps. We loaded the upper plate with two 5 kg counterweights for an extended period.

We have currently developed the tube clamps for the Evostar 120 and 150 and for the Explorer 200PDS. These will be added gradually for SCs and other telescopes. This means that SCs removed from a fork mount can also be used on an EQ mount.

The dovetail bars/mounting plates are intended to serve as a platform for finders, guiding tubes with a focusing plate we developed, and anything else you want to attach to them.
