Explore Scientific ED Apo 152mm with carbon fiber tube, optical viewfinder and transport case The 152mm ED Apochromat with Carbontubus is available since the weight of the optics is a critical factor in photography! The optics only weighs 10.2 kg with a dew cap and pipe clamps, making it nearly 4 kg lighter than its predecessor! The length of the tube has been optimized so that accessories with a critical focus can also be used. The three-lined construction with Hoya FCD01-ED special glass and two air gaps enables a correction which is clearly visible above the level of the two-lined ED apostles which are otherwise available in this price class. A computational polystring of more than 0.9 indicates a very clear language compared to the 0.8x possible with two lenses. The illuminated Explore Scientific 8x50 viewfinder with upright and full-view image is now included with the ED 152 Carbon, as well as an improved transport case. For all Explore Scientific ED apochromats, a triple lens with air gap and Hoya "FCD-1 special lens provides excellent imaging performance for visual use and photography. A 3" eyepiece lens provides vignetting-free photography.
