GSO 6 "150mm f / 6 Newton Telescope on Stable Skywatcher N-EQ5 Mount
High-intensity telescope for observation and astrophotography with quality optics from GSO on stable parallactic Skywatcher EQ5 mount.
The GSO 6 "Newton with 900 mm focal length and high-quality parabolic mirror with 94% forced reflection offers a brighter picture and very good sharpness.
♦ Above-average image through parabolic main mirror of GSO in best quality
♦ 94% reflection for a brighter and more contrasty image
♦ Adjustable main and rearview mirror mount
♦ Stable steel tube for optimum rigidity and adjustment stability
♦ 2 "Crayford focuser with reduction to 1.25" via ring clamp
♦ Stable parallactic mount Skywatcher EQ5 with stainless steel tripod and manual fine adjustment in both axes.
GSO's Newton telescopes are known worldwide for their excellent optics. In our experience, mirror telescopes from GSO are among the best telescopes in this price range. Due to the very sharp diffraction-limited main mirror and the excellent stable mechanical processing, this newton telescope is our recommendation for astrophotography and also for visual observation of the star sky.
This Newton with 150 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length offers top performance in observation and photography.
The contrast in moon and planets is very good. The image and resolution on the moon and planets is the equivalent of a high-quality 4 "-Apo refractor - for a fraction of the price.
Fog and galaxies are already depicted with fine structures. 150 mm opening already provide about twice as much light as 114 mm opening. With a 2 "overview eyepiece, you can observe a field that is about 5 times the size of the full moon, making the Newton a true comet finder and field telescope.
The aperture ratio of f / 6 makes the telescope well suited for astrophotography. Smaller chips even manage without a coma corrector. For medium or larger CCD and DSLR cameras, we have suitable Komacorrektoren in the range.
The 2 "Crayford extract:
Easier Newtonteleksope have a 1.25 "eyepiece extract - sometimes not even metal This 2" -Crayford focuser is of course made of metal. The pullout tube is ball-bearing. Even heavy cameras and eyepieces are easily carried and still a sensitive focus is possible. The focuser is supplied with a reduction to 1.25 "and the clamping of 1.25" and 2 "accessories takes place gently and safely by a ring clamp.
The parallactic mount EQ5 from Skywatcher:
The parallactic mount EQ5 carries the Newton with very good stability, sufficient for visual observation and astrophotography. The mount comes with a sturdy stainless steel tripod, which can be extended up to 140 cm height. The delivery includes two knobs for manual adjustment.
Later, you can equip the mount with optional accessories, such as Polsucher, tracking, GoTo control
