Sky-Watcher H-EQ5 SynTrek - parallactic mount with tracking for telescopes up to 15 kg

The Sky-Watcher HEQ-5, like the EQ6, hit the market in 2001 and can be described as the "little brother" of the EQ-6.

The HEQ-5 is also available with two different hand controls:
 
- the SynTrek - is a simple control for tracking
- the SynScan / SkyScan - is equipped with the Goto control

With a load capacity of 15 kg (of course depending on the instrument), this mount can be used for smaller / medium sized Newtons and refractors.

This version with the tracking offers itself above all for star friends, who want to first observe visually, but also want to have the option to get into the Astro photography, because an upgrade to Goto is possible with the SkyScan hand control.
