Meade ETX125 - compact travel telescope with GoTo mount The telescope Meade ETX-125 UHTC consists of a Maksutov-Cassegrain (reflecting telescope) which is mounted in an automatically controlled azimuthal two-arm fork mount. The Maksutov-Cassegrain Optik is a reflecting telescope with an additional Maksutov lens in the beam path.
This correction lens guarantees a pin-sharp image without annoying color errors.
The azimuthal mount of the ETX-125 is able to navigate the telescope with two motors through horizontal and vertical movements over the starry sky. As an electronic control, the included Autostar Handbox.
The Autostar Handbox can, without a domestic PC or laptop, automatically approach and track a large number of objects in the starry sky so that the object of desire remains in the field of vision despite the earth's rotation.

The Meade ETX-125 offers the ambitious hobby astronomer the opportunity to get closer to the starry sky with a lot of comfort. Automatic positioning with countless stored objects, automatic tracking and a very low weight allow the amateur astronomer comfortable observations of the home garden or balcony, or dark places outside the illuminated cities.
127mm telescope aperture and the powerful optics of Maksutov-Cassegrain design, paired with a high focal length (1900mm), are perfect for detailed observations of the moon and the rings of Saturn, cloud bands of Jupiter, or the polar ice caps of Mars. The telescope also collects enough light for objects outside our solar system. Globular clusters, planetary nebulae and in dark conditions galaxies are already visible.
With an optional 45 ° reversing prism, the telescope can also be used as a spotting scope for daily observations.
