Meade Telescope N 114/1000 Polaris EQ
Item Description:
The Polaris telescopes from Meade offer small to medium optics with lots of accessories on a parallactic mount at a very good price.
With this type of mount, an axis is aligned with the north star (Polaris). This polar alignment means that the telescope only has to be rotated continuously around an axis to compensate for the sky rotation. This is not only convenient, it also makes orientation easier with the help of a star map.
The tracking is done by hand using a handy rotary knob that is connected to a flexible shaft. A motor is also available as an option.
Each Polaris telescope is supplied with a tubular steel tripod for better stability.
The optics N 114/1000: This telescope in classic Newton design offers 114mm opening in a compact design. This makes it an ideal telescope for beginners, which is very easy to transport, easy to use and requires no prior knowledge. With this telescope you can already see the rings from Saturn or the cloud bands and the moons from Jupiter, which look like their own small planetary system. But the lighter nebulae and star formation regions such as the Orion nebula are not hidden from you either. Go on a journey of discovery!
