Meade Teleskop N 130/1000 StarNavigator NG 130 AZ GoTo
Item Description:
The optics N 130/1000:
This classic reflector is one of the typical entry-level devices that are characterized by high portability and a bright, sharp, lifelike image. Newtonian telescopes are free from color defects. The light collecting capacity is 344 times. The optics thus offer considerably more light than a 114 mm Newtonian telescope and the first deep sky objects can already be reached. First and foremost, however, you can clearly see and admire objects within the solar system.
The advantages at a glance:
easily transportable reflector no color defects
The StarNavigator series has won many friends over the years. These are inexpensive, lightweight telescopes with computer control (GoTo), with which it is child's play to set the desired celestial object. Meade takes this series to the next level: The StarNavigator NG (Next Generation) is equipped with the new AudioStar hand control. After a brief alignment procedure, your telescope is ready to take you on a guided tour of the night sky. The Audiostar database offers 30,000 objects and over four hours of audio presentations. You feel like you have a professional astronomer at your side.
The StarNavigator mounts have a light but stable aluminum frame and a height-adjustable aluminum tripod, which enables comfortable viewing from a sitting or standing position. You can operate the telescope via the integrated battery compartment with eight AA batteries (not included) or an external power supply.
The AudioStar hand control contains a database of 30,000 celestial objects. Once aligned in the sky, AudioStar can point the telescope at each of these objects and keep it centered in the eyepiece - of course only if the object is just above the horizon. This so-called GoTo functionality is supplemented by further features, such as guided tours, position display and connection to the PC.
A special highlight of the AudioStar control is the built-in loudspeaker. The integrated astronomer inside technology offers over four hours of speech output (only in English). The built-in astronomer knows interesting things to report about the celestial object set in the control!
Easy Align: At the beginning of each observation, the computer control must be compared with the current starry sky. This alignment is also called alignment. Alignment on this telescope is particularly simple: after entering the location and facing north, the telescope approaches two bright stars one after the other. These only have to be centered in the eyepiece and the adjustment is done and the telescope is set.
