OD500 Deluxe

The OD500 Deluxe is the top model of the Orion Dobson series. With an opening of half a meter in conjunction with 97% reflection on each mirror, the professional telescope shows you sky objects in completely new dimensions, which until recently you only knew of astrophotography. Many fog will even be visible in color.

OD500 Knight pipes

OD500 main mirror attachment The combination of round tube attachment and lattice tube construction combines several advantages. The reinforced lower part of the tube keeps the main mirror adjustable and provides mechanical protection. Due to the lattice tube construction, the large Dobson is nevertheless still transportable.

The Pyrex main mirror rests in a 9-point cell. The mirror is free of air, which allows a relatively fast cooling.
