Omegon Apochromatic Refractor AP 80/500 ED Carbon OTA

This very special APO telescope provides astrophotographers, visual observers and/or nature lovers a unique pleasure of starry sky and nature. Clear and sharp image of the stars, as well in the peripheral regions of the visual field are provided, as well an excellent mechanical precision.

In the lens of Omegon ED Apochromatic doublet are TrueColor glasses. The two-lens objective consists of a good combination of Ohara FPL-53 and S-NBM51 glass, these are ED special glasses with high and low refractive index and best transmission properties. A special feature is the S-NBM51 glass, which is mainly used in apochromatic designs of fluorescence microscopes. Your benefit: The optics shows you the objects particularly sharp and contrasty! The detailed differences you can see in the planetary observation, is one of the main properties for such a ED APO.

Additionally the tube has an 1:11 focuser allows a sensitive adjustment, which is a must for astro photographies. At the same time the focuser is strong enough to carry accessories up to 10kg.

A stable case, which is inclusive, ensures a safty and dust-free storage or transport.
